Over the summer I find a cool Android App called ReceiptHog that will let you scan receipts for credits toward PayPal, Amazon, and Visa giftcards. When a receipt is scanned you will either receive coins toward giftcards, spins for coins, or tickets that will enter you into drawing for coins.
It took me a couple of months to get just $5.00, but five bucks is five bucks and I stopped using it for a few of those months because I had lost my cell phone. I also don’t go grocery shopping as much as other people do nor do I spend as much. If you are a big grocery shopper, then this might work well for you. Note that the longer you wait and the more you let the coin balance grow, the less the giftcards cost from your coin stash.
Is this something that you can do working from home? No. You have to pay the bills and this is isn’t going to do this for you. It will let you put up to $40 on a giftcard and then you can use that giftcard for whatever you like so it is almost like getting cashback from the store. I use mine to go on a free shopping spree day. Sometimes I use mine for office supplies.
