I love telling people about great shopping experiences so I was excited to find Yelp. When you Yelp, you tell people about local places and rate them. It’s really nice to know what to expect when you’re going somewhere or you need to comparison shop.
I’ve used Yelp for finding a great nail salon and to complain about a bad plumbing experience. I’ve also used it to rate my favorite grocery store chain 🙂 I’m sure I’ll be using it a lot more.
When you use these reviews don’t be vindictive or rude. Sometimes a person just has a bad experience one day out of many. These companies rely on their customers’ experience to make sure that others come in. Just be honest. I’ve seen reviews that make me want to visit to see if it really is that bad and a few times the reviewers seemed to just be angry at one experience.
