I didn’t know what to expect. Back then it was cheap and I did some transactions and bought a few items from her. I believe at the time it was only $11.00 USD per 1 bitcoin. I’ve cashed in a little bit here and there using services like btcpak and another place, but never anything huge. A friend of mine just left and showed me her cash that she just received from doing some phone work.

O M G. She’s banking it! So, I snooped around for a bit on the bitcointalk.org forums and now I’m going to do a full review. If you use bitcoin as a business or a customer, I would love to hear from you. I’d like to know about your experiences doing Internet transactions and the safety of using bitcoin. Thanks.

I do accept advertising payments for bitcoin, although I haven’t figured out how to automate this process yet. Just another day in the life of being a geekmom.

Body Wraps Really Do Work&related=therealgeekmom:&lang=en&count=none" class="twitter-share-button">Tweet

I’ve been wondering which networking marketing system to use with my MLSP for some time and I finally picked out the It Works! body wraps. Now, I know I’ve told you that I signed up, but I hadn’t tried it yet. I did this because I felt like if it didn’t work that I would just be wasting my money trying one. Right now there is no one in the local tri-valley area of San Ramon, Livermore, Dublin, or Danville selling these items so I signed up as a distributor right away since I was going to get product anyway.

That was a good move. My kit arrived sooner than expected and I was excited to try it. I had to wait for a bit because I don’t really have any snug, tight fitting Spandex so I had to buy plastic wrap. I also wanted a measuring tape because my son decided to destroy my other one. Well, my other son bought the plastic wrap, but not the measuring tape. That was frustrating to say the least. Right now I don’t have accurate measurements yet, but I do know that I did lose some. I’ll explain that in a bit.

I took a cold shower, because it was 90 degrees here, and scrubbed the areas I was going to wrap. This is recommended because dead cells could block the applicator from working correctly. I then measured myself with some threaded copper wire (lol) in the three recommended places. I haven’t measured these yet, but I did this so I could measure them when the time came. Don’t laugh at me, okay?

Now, I’m not a thin person. I’d like to claim I am, but I’m not. After having 3 kids and doing some yo-yo dieting for years I grew a little bit. I’m not going to put my pictures up here. I actually took a video of my sides and front. I didn’t bother with the back. Don’t go there. Let’s just say I have a gorgeous, curvy body for those who like BBW women.

Anyway, put on the wraps which were really cold and smelled a bit minty and herbal then I put the Saranwrap over my midsection just like it said to do. I then covered myself with my clothes and sat around for about an hour. They say to leave it on from 45 minutes to 8 hours and if it is your first time to try 45 minutes to test your skin reaction. I did an hour.

When I took off the wraps, I couldn’t see an noticeable difference, but when I measured again I had lost about an inch and a half. I’m supposed to keep losing over the next few days so I’ll look again. My pants are a little loser too. I see the pictures of all these people with less inches and it is usually the thinner people where you can actually see the results. I think this is pretty normal because it was difficult to see my loss yet it was definitely there according to the measurement so always measure and use the marker to make sure you get it in the same place.

So I have more applicators to use in 72 hours, but I want to order the Skinny Pack so I can get maximum results because it is supposed to curb the carb cravings. Whatever I do, I will keep you updated on my results.

For those serious online marketers, It Works! can work with your social networking business. I’m sure all of you blogging and social networking gurus can figure out how to fit this into your facebook, twitter, and other areas of marketing. I am. If you are in the Livermore or Tri Valley area then let’s setup an appointment to do a private wrap. I’ve got a $25.00 coupon so you can try one out or we can do an It Works! party where you can invite some friends. The products are $99.00 per 4 applications or if you can get a discount then become a loyal customer.

These are especially good for those on a diet because it can help tone and tighten the skin while you’re losing weight and the other products such as the Advanced Formula Fat Fighter with Carb Inhibitors or the Ultimate ThermoFit can help you curb that appetite and boost your metabolism.

So if you’re in the area or looking for It Works in Livermore, hit me up for a party, otherwise order from the site and become a loyal customer or even a distributor to save money and have it shipped right to your doorstep.

A lot. If you want to understand your clients’ needs, Twitter can help you. Right now, you’re probably scouring online reviews and analyzing them to gain new insight into what your clients think about your business. While reviews are helpful, Twitter can be even more so.

Limitations of Reviews

There are many limitations to the information you get from online reviews. In most cases, people only write online reviews when they have strong opinions. This means that you’re learning about your clients’ needs mostly from people who either love your business or hate it, and you’re hearing much less from the people in the middle with less extreme and more average viewpoints. Many times those reviews also exist with fairly little information on who posted the review, such as their demographics, other interests, etc.

Benefits of Twitter

Twitter, on the other hand, can offer you a lot more information than individual reviews can. The most obvious example would be if any Twitter users “mention” your business or products. There are lots of programs that can help you track certain mentions, terms, etc. When you identify those mentions, you have the ability to see the commenter’s entire Twitter history. From there, you can learn more about their interests, opinions, location, etc., which will give you even greater insight into their needs as your customer.

Tweeter Trending

The other big thing that Twitter can do is help you identify trends among your clients’ and the rest of the world, too. With #hashtags, you can find what’s popular, as well as track all the tweets that pertain to a certain #hashtag you’re interested in. Most importantly, you can look for trends among your own followers. Those trends can give you very important information about them and their needs, even when they’re not talking about your business in particular. Those trends can provide very valuable information for your business on how to connect with your clients, as well as how to stay ahead of the curve when it comes to trends and new ideas.

Twitter Conversations

On Twitter, you can also jump in on the conversations or start them. While you can respond to client reviews, it’s much less efficient. You can mention clients or direct message them. You can tweet out questions that would provide interesting answers from your clients, and encourage responses, especially with the use of a catchy #hashtag. A good, thought-provoking tweet could generate a much bigger and more insightful response than any one review could provide. You will be hearing from the average clients in addition to the more outspoken ones on Twitter.

If you’re not tracking the trends on Twitter, you need to start. Reviews are old news. While reviews definitely still matter, trends on Twitter are more helpful for gathering ideas that will appeal to your clients and improve your business for them.

Julie Myers is a social media manager and expert reviews tracker. She is currently teaching others about tracking new review alerts.

Google loves image tags and so do other search engines. This doesn’t mean watermarketing your images, although in many cases you should watermark them as well. Tagging is done by naming the image an appropriate name and by using ALT tags to describe your image.

Try it, do a search on google on anything that you images represent. Do your images show up? If not, then google probably isn’t even finding them. Just a few simple keywords in the ALT tag and in the image name will help the search engines find your image which ultimately will let them find your site.

Naming the image the right name helps as well because some sites actually use the real name when the image is uploaded. If the site changes or masks the name, then you should use the appropriate tags or keywords in the right areas of the form when uploading an image.

Doing this makes your posters feel good about what they’ve done. People like to feel good on social networking sites. They social network because they want to be noticed so notice them! If you ignore them then they won’t come back to visit your page. If they like your page then thank them for it. If they send your page out then thank them for sending it out. Let them know!

They call each other names and the bantering never stops. I just finished with one of those events. One real annoying, liberal troll adds very annoying junk to my brother’s page all the time. He’s very rude and thinks he’s quite cute, but in reality he just makes people really want to hit him.

I admit, I post about politics on my personal page constantly because that is who I am. I’m all about smaller government, lower taxes, and small business and the people I have on my personal page are all about that too. Most people I went to school with are like me and the few exceptions I either don’t have on my page or we just avoid the political posts on our pages.

I fail to see the need to go back and forth with someone who will never see your point of view. How can one possibly change the other person’s mind by flinging around textual mud? Everyone is so set in their own opinions that it isn’t going to matter. The only people how might change their minds on anything are the quiet ones and they avoid the arguments because they would rather post pictures of their kids.

I find many people are making more enemies than friends on facebook. Has our culture resorted to such nonsense? It’s like the Berlin Wall.

Well, I’ve found one of them. As soon as the details are finalized I’ll tell you what it is. I love network marketing. I’ve loved it since the day I started making some cash on it. I’ve just never really been excited about just one product before.

Today, I’m excited. Any why? I think it’s because of the person who is interested in sponsoring me. See, I’ve had sponsors, but they usually aren’t that excited to do business. They go through the motions, etc etc and never really give me that umph! like they’re all into it. In fact, some of them are still at the same level they were 10 to 15 years ago! I think it’s still like that because their product, even though I loved it, isn’t Internet friendly. The company doesn’t want you selling it on the Internet. That’s the problem.

This is different. This business is Internet friendly and exciting. People are lining up to do it and I need to get in now. I’m not exciting with products that have tons of Internet upsales and your typical online product because honestly, all of them end up wanting $1500.00 per month in the end and the average Joe cannot afford that. I don’t see those working forever. Sure, they can help you build fast and boost you to $150,000 in a few months if you have a large list, but then who can afford to keep on paying $500 per month for training when all it is is a daily motivational on how to sell your blog? The people who are making $500 per month extra to do this, that’s who and that isn’t your average person.

So, I’ve finally put my foot down and decided to do this one thing because it will help me out. I’m not ready to tell you what it is yet. Yes, I will still use MLSP to help me sell it and motivate me because I LOVE MLSP and I will still show you how to do blog tips on this blog because I do love blogging. I will also show you how to use all of these to promote a product like I’m going to be using.

So stay tuned. You’re about to get dazzled ;)

There’s a popular notion these days that YouTube videos can increase your WAHM rankings on google and others sites. While I haven’t done a lot of marketing on YouTube, which I should, I do think it can increase your ranking. Why? YouTube is a really popular site where, if you use a lot of really good keywords and your content is good content, you can get thousands of views on your videos. While you can’t use it for direct SPAM, you can add value to your products by doing reviews for them on YouTube which can help your site popularity.

At the webinar last night Mark Harbert discussed how releasing videos can increase your ranking on google and I really think he’s right. The problem I see is that people are so nervous about their videos that they never even try. I’m an example of this. Recently I chipped a bottom tooth and I have to go get it fixed. Even though there is a tooth, it looks like it’s not there so I’m just way too nervous to even try. I know, it’s a really lame excuse that I need to get over or go get it fixed. To get it fixed I need to make the money. To make the money I need to make the video. Vicious cycle, isn’t it?

So, I’m going to start making videos and with the motivational posts on MLSP and other sites I’m going to get this together. There is no reason why I shouldn’t be making what I make per year in a month. There is no reason at all. That IS my goal is to make what I make in a month what I make in a year. I know it sounds crazy to some, but I know I can do it and you can too.

I think there are two big secrets of being successful with YouTube videos. One of these big secrets is to not give up. Make 1 or 2 per day and be persistent. This shouldn’t be difficult because YouTube even has a flash video recorder builtin to it and I can also make videos with my cell phone or netbook when I’m on the road. Easy! The other no brainer is that in order for people to see my videos I need to make sure my descriptions actually content in them. So many people forget this step and I think that’s why their videos aren’t seen. The more real information related to my video that I put in the description and tags, the more people will show up to see it. I’m not looking to make the most popular and funniest video on YouTube that gets millions of hits, but I am looking to make a video that can help other people. It might not get as many hits as the laughing baby or dog humping the neighbor’s leg, but it will get me moving in my business.

There’s a really great video program on MLSP that I do plan to purchase soon and then I’ll be able to tell you all about it. Until then, watch out for my great videos on YouTube *wink*.
