One of the most important pieces of your business is your email list. If you ever lose your website or other marketing channel then you’re going to be able to contact those people on your list. It is so important to backup that list daily and backup the backup. Put contacts from all sources on one list and make it part of your daily routine.
There is nothing worse than losing your whole website and not have a copy of all of your contacts. I’m talking about about backing them up from all sources including feedburner, aweber, your blog, facebook, your twitter list of names, etc.
Back it up and put it in several different places. Make a master list and save it in a fire proof box. Honestly, I think your contact list is the most valuable piece of information you have in your business.
